“highly recommend”

“I’ve been seeing Scott for physio and Pilates for more than 10 years. During this time,
he has efficiently helped restore my mobility and eradicate the pain and discomfort caused by my back issues. A consistent Pilates regime at Proactive has been of great support. It has also significantly improved my overall health and wellbeing. I would highly recommend Proactive Physio to anyone looking for passionate, friendly and experienced physiotherapists and Pilates instructors.”

— Jenny

“sorted out my back”

“Scott and later Matt really sorted out my back at a time when I had hardly any movement across my shoulder blades and in my neck. I used to have a permanent hard knot like a block of concrete just below my deltoids. A couple of physio sessions got rid of this, plus they gave me exercises to prevent it from building up again.”

— Steve

“stronger and more toned”

“When I was trying for a baby, I tried Pilates in the hope that I could build up my non-existent core strength and pelvic stability (I’d heard this could prevent your abs from separating during childbirth). I didn’t know what to expect, but to my surprise within three weeks I felt noticeably stronger and more toned. It wasn’t long before I became addicted and three babies later I’m still a fanatic. Now I’m in better shape than I ever was in my 20s!”

— Sarah

“skilled and supportive”

“Now I travel from Buderim to Brisbane just to see Scott [the founder of Proactive Physio]. Since I moved out of town, I’ve never found a physio as skilled and supportive as he is!”

At the crux of the core

How much do you know about the ‘true core’? True core strength goes much deeper than surface abs and six-packs. Responsible for balance and all-round stability, the true core connects your abdominal muscles, pelvic floor and posterior chain. Many people mistakenly...
